The year 2020 is coming to an end, and some students have already received college acceptance letters, but it’s not too late to apply for scholarships. As we all know, college is far too expensive on its own, and scholarships help reduce the price. Most scholarships have expired by now, but here are a few with deadlines well into 2021.
1. Create-A-Greeting-Card Scholarship Contest
The “Create-A-Greeting-Card” scholarship is offering $10,000 to the winning applicant and $1,000 to the school they are currently attending. This scholarship is open to all high school, college, and university students as long as they are 14 years or older. The deadline is March 9th, 2021. For the application, you must think up an original idea for any theme of greeting cards. There are five qualifications: Overall aesthetic appeal, Quality of execution, Creativity and Originality, Successful incorporation of design elements, and appropriateness for use as a greeting card. 2. Frame My Future Scholarship
The “Frame My Future” scholarship is offering $5,000 to the 1st place winning applicant. It is open to students planning to enroll as a full-time student at any university in the US for the 2021-2022 academic year. The second-place winner gets $1,000, and the third-place winner gets $500. The application is due April 1st, 2021. There is no GPA suggestion or requirement; they are reviewing your creativity. To apply, go to https://www.diplomaframe.com/contests/frame-my-future-scholarship then submit your work of art. The photo you submit must be 2MB JPG/JPEG or PNG file format. The artwork should demonstrate how you see yourself in your ideal career. This can be through photography, ink, collage, painting, mixed media, or graphic design work. The application form will require you to write a thoughtful caption for the piece, but thoughtful does not mean lengthy. There is a 500-word limit to describe how this piece of art represents your future.
3. I Have a Dream Scholarship
The “I Have a Dream” scholarship is offering $1,500 as a prize. The deadline is January 21st, 2021. The application asks you to submit 250 words or less in response to the following question: “What do you dream about? 4. Unigo Flavor of the Month Scholarship
The “Flavor of The Month” scholarship is worth $1,500. Anyone 13 and older is eligible to apply. The deadline is July 31st, 2021. The application requires you to submit a short 250-word essay answering the question of “which ice cream flavor you would be and why?” When writing this essay, it would be in your best interest to channel your creative side to impress the reviewers at Unigo.
5. Breanden Beneschott Fire Memes Scholarship
The “Breanden Beneschott Fire Memes Scholarship” is offering $1,000 to the winning applicant. It is open to all students, including high school, college, and graduate students. The deadline is October 2021. To apply for this scholarship, you’ll first need to sign up for bold.org (https://bold.org/scholarships/breanden-beneschott-fire-memes-scholarship/ ). After you’ve done that, submit your favorite memes with a caption and your Instagram handle. Make sure to follow @fire.student.memes on Instagram and like or comment on your favorite memes.
6. Scholarships360 No Essay Scholarship
This Scholarships360 award is offering $500 to the winning applicant. It is open to all students, including high school, college, and graduate students. The deadline is June 30th, 2021.
